But that thread wasn't for nigel pictures. And it wasn't a go-nowhere thread. I've already explained that.

Professionalism is more than just following rules. It's how you behave as a poster and a mod/admin. I'm not freaking retarded. If you guys honestly think that, I'll leave. I'm pretty darn sure I know way more about forums than you two combined.

Forget it. The discussion is over. Stop talking about it.

Hmm...

What's a nigel thread?

Also: Yay! Post #200!

I just want to say that if anyone feels that I'm doing a bad job as an admin in general, or just at something I've done, feel free to PM me about it and we can discusss it.

I have been moderator before, but never admin. When I lock a thread, delete a post, or move a thread, there's always a thought behind it. I never do it just because. So if you feel that I've done anything unjust I will be able to back it up to some degree.

There's probably room for improvement in the work I do, and I'm willing to go there as long as members can point out where and when.

Hahaha, that's like Mr. Bean trying to repaint the Whistler's Mother in the movie Big Grin.

RE: The Free Thread - Hexadecimal - 08-23-2012 09:27 AM

What I want to know is how in the heck did she manage to get the painting and do that without anything noticing?

.... I don't know how my puppet escaped my grasp, but it will not happen again.

Here's an interesting article on the average gamer

One point that bothers me is this:
Quote:Let’s go ahead and put another nail in the coffin of the mythical average loudmouthed, hyper-aggressive gamer.

We all know the CoD Fanbase is probably one of the worst and that this statement clearly applies to them(not all) but why is that a problem?
1) If you were to assume I was in that category then that's your problem and not for us to constantly keep defending ourselves away from that image. It's called stereotyping/making assumptions/generalising which we all know is uneducated BS so why does it matter and why take offence if you know it's wrong? In the same why I could say that all Movie buffs are smug a-holes. It's going by what a few do not what everyone else does.
2) If though it applies to that small group I don't get why it's an issue. Everyone is different is someone wanker is talking 'ard over VOIP then fine. Bellends in real life sure but why do all gamers have to say "why they aren't like this" when we have proper douchebags who are loud, drunk morons at football who are exactly the same but, because it's so well known about them, nobody cares.

Nice to see an article that showcased statistics in a great way.
(Just a shame it's from geekquality, that place has strong feminist aura about it).

So freaking sick of annoying people on this board. WEll, I should say person, because he is the only annoying one on here. I would ignore him, but it's absolutely useless. The ignore feature on nearly all of the message boards are complete ****. The only one worth anything is GameFAQ's because they actually hide the post (so you can't click on "view post" like you can on here) and now they have it so you can hide the notification that you have people on your ignore list.

I know I'm not involved in whatever you are talking about but, I'm sorry did I miss something? Huh

Also, can't wait for the paralympics. I always feel like those should be before the olympics. So many people just think "olympics are over, nothing to see here" Sad

Nope. The post is mainly about my hatred for the stupid ignore feature on most forums except GameFAQ's/
