At 1:15 in the video, it shows Game and Watch in the background of level 7-1(Foggy Fumes) hammering a pipe.
This video also shows some other neat stuff but i think this cameo is the best easter egg of the bunch.

Woah, I have never even heard of these before. Those are some pretty neat easteregg. Especially Mr. Game & Watch.
