The 2nd Water Temple in LoZ: Ocarina Of Time.

I have proved my point.

Besides the freaking Shadow Temple at LoZ: Master Quest, the final instance in Dragon Age: Origins was simply frustrating.

It had hordes of darkspawn charging on you, but normally that wouldn't be a problem, except that because of the number of enemies charging, they decided to give them 1 HP only. That would be a nice thing IF IT DIDN'T TAKE 30 SECONDS TO HIT THEM. I just freaking saw my party members hitting the enemies for a long time until they managed to hit it. Not even the unmissable magic bolts would hurt them.
It would've been tolerable if they didn't stop you in the middle of the battle and make you command the members that are NOT on your party to defeat another horde. I had barely given any equipment to some of them (Stern had his default clothing on >_>) and had no healers. Just great.

When I played Super Mario Bros. as a kid I lost a tooth while eating a banana and swallowed it. I didn't notice until long after when my mom pointed out that my banana was red. What makes this such a bad memory is that mom always gave me money when I lost a tooth, but wouldn't give me any because I swallowed this one. Then my brother made tricked me into beliving that swallowing the tooth would kille me. I cried for days.

Fucking Mario Bros. :'(

I once thought I had lost a 30 hour Wind Waker save file. I could have cried. It turned out the memory card just wasn't plugged in correctly.

When I spilt Apple Lucozade all over my DSi. Turns out they're natural enemies.

On the subject of almost lost progress- when I was really little I played Kirby Superstar to death and eventually the battery fried, showing nothing but empty files on the select screen! Turning the game off and on miraculously fixed it, and my first file on it is still in-tact to this day. It's amazing to me.

Maybe it was a time when you just barely beat the elite four only for your gameboy to run out of battery.
Maybe it was a time when you started that game you were so hyped for only to find out it was horrible.
Maybe it was when your hardcore character died because of lag.

Tell me, what was you worst moment in gaming?

For me, it would be when I dropped my gameboy while it was saving my awesome pokemon red file, and the entire file was deleted. 8-year old me was crushed...

I've been playing day z for 3 hours and couldn't find any weapon... finally when I did, I saw a survivor chased by zombies and tried to help him... I saved his ass and got killed in return... If you want to imagine it more graphicly, check out the video...

I accidentally formatted my PS2 memory card for some reason and I had lost all my saves. It sucked.

RE: Your worst moment in gaming. - Nicknclank - 06-29-2012 12:33 PM

Oh, I remember an other one.

I played "Pokemon Emerald" for a long time, and I tried to train myself to beat one of my friends (he had almost EVERY of his pokemons Lv 100... in a 3-4 weeks O_O"). And theeeeeeen... one of my siblings found the game and decided to play. When I saw what my sibling was playing, I took him from his hands... only to see that he pressed save before going out to a new adventure with a frekin' starter that wasn't a water pokemon.

My worst moment was when I was playing Sonic Battle for the GBA. Anyone remember that one? Decent game, pretty mediocre by all standards. The reason it's part of my worst moment? I was literally one stage away from beating it, after powering up Emerl for days, making him the strongest I could, the game was stolen from me. I don't know who took it, but they did. And I never saw that game again. Bear in mind, this was when I was about 10 or so, so I still went through those childish temper tantrums. I almost cried when I opened my bag and my game wasn't there.

I sure had worse moments in my gaming life, but the worst I can remember now is the Batman: Arkham City's glitch that erases the save game. I was in the Rhas' Al Ghul's (or whatever how it's written) test, and advancing quite fast in the game, enjoying it a lot. Then, next time I start playing it, it's all gone.

But the worst is knowing the glitch has no solution and, if I start the game again, the my save could be erased one more time (it did happen in fact, as I tried to start over).
