Zelda: RIP Soldier... - Quto - 03-04-2013 10:28 AM

In the legend of Zelda, Ocarina of time holds a dark scene along with its other set of secrets.

If you complete the 3 temples as a child and get the ocarina of time, before going into the 'Temple of Time', head for the back alley behind the bomchu shop and you'll find a soldier against the wall. Speak to him and hear the soldiers last words; That he fought Gannondorf and his minions to allow Zelda to escape safely. He also begs link to head for the Temple of Time before giving out. If you speak to him again you'll get "He's not moving anymore..."

Yeah that's a common Zelda DYK fact but it's still kind of creepy no matter how many times I encounter it.

Also in the future, you should post all Zelda DYKs in this bulk thread:

I did a forum search for zelda and soldier seperate and both of them together, I even did one on the main site yet it didn't come up.

Well, I feel stupid, though then again I really did do both searches, you think they would bring back results. :/

No, I'm sorry if you misunderstood what I said but I didn't say that the DYK had already been posted.

Just that in future, all Zelda DYK facts should be posted in that one thread to help consolidate discussion. The same has been done for Pokemon and Mario DYKs if you look at the top of the "Suggest a Did You Know?" forum board.
