I'm just gonna leave this here....

Level 100, Modest, Air Balloon
IVs: 31/0/31/31/31/31
EVs: 252 Sp. Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP
Moveset: Magma Storm, Flash Cannon, Earth Power, Flamethrower

I plan on changing its moveset to replace Flash Cannon with Solarbeam, because I plan on using it on a Sun team. I'm also on the fence about replacing Flamethrower with something like Dragon Pulse or Substitute. I might lower its speed a little and give it some HP EVs. How did yours turn out?

P.S. I just registered my save file on Pokecheck. Is there any real danger to doing so?

I'll let you know in an hour. I haven't been on Pokemon since I made that post. I'll go RNG it now (weekend for me! Big Grin).

I don't know what registering a save file does though. Sad

Feel free to have a browse of my RNG'd Pokemon too and download 'em.

I've still yet to upload Keldeo to Pokecheck though...

I get the feeling that video was made by someone who got bodied by a 10 year old who was a better player. Sad

Or by someone that really sucks at math Undecided

I'm trying to RNG wild Pokemon, but it's not working. I tried filling in the encounter slots for Sneasel and Staryu, but it kept giving me the wrong Pokemon. How different is it from Stationary Pokemon?

RE: Q/AThread - BumblebeeCody - 02-24-2013 06:12 AM

Did RNG Heatrans nature? I'm having a huge problem with Synchonise not working. Been at this for hours now and it will give me the right IVs but NEVER get me modest nature. Just lonely, and it says it can be Synchronised. Even if I try other times it won't even Synchronise the Modest Umbreon.

The first time I got the right nature and the wrong IVs, the second time both were right. Does the nature box have Modest and Synchronise checked out?

Hey, what does RNG stand for anyway?

Random Number Generation/Generator.

It could also mean Radioactive Noble Gas or Really Nice Guy. Your choice.

I prefer rambunctious new-town gent, though random number generator makes more sense.

RNG means Random Number Generator.

Techno babble bullshit below
Even though it's called a Random Number Generator, it's not actually random due to programming limitations.

@Jdawgs
Screw the Heatran, something seriously bullshit is up with that so I'm gonna try RNGing Cresselia instead. No idea why but the nature will never synchronise to modest. This after trying 5 or so different times in different years but will never synchronise the modest nature.

Interesting. Does that work with eggs as well?

Every-single-thing.
You can abuse eggs, Legendaries, Mystery Events, Hidden Grottoes Shinies(You can abuse them to the point of encountering shinies with every encounter you hit in grass/water etc).

(If you check that picture, it has a tab for Eggs and Hidden Grotto)

Interesting. I might just try that out if I got a few hours spare time this week.

RE: Q/AThread - BumblebeeCody - 02-26-2013 10:50 PM

Well worth it for competitive battling or collecting.
You can use those "perfect Pokemon" for battling and be on that high level of play, or you can collect them or sell them to others. Giving away a random Charizard who cares, but giving away a perfect IV, EV trained and Shiny Charizard is of high value.
