Thought so! Thanks! Live and learn, live and learn.

Or you could go the fun route. Ignorance is bliss!

(as for books, I ain't much to the idea so don't expect my participation, but if you want a suggestion, I'd say Ender's Game, Ender's Shadow, any old orwell books, or Killing Lincoln by Bill O' Reilly)(I ain't much to the idea because I don't like reading in the first place so books I like are hard to come by)

I am sort of hesitating to bring up books that are either political and/or religious for a few reasons. If I am the only one who feels that way then poo on me!

I'd love to do a book club thing. My two cents here would be to sort of have the books be relevant to the forums, what I mean is something gaming related. Although I don't know of too many gaming novels.

Good point. Minus the Orwell.

Alright so we have had some people agree to add a gamer-esque book so I will take that into consideration. I would not mind some more feedback on some genres that you guys enjoy.

Okay so I double post like a loser but I have another question for you guys. If we agree on a book and it is the start of a series, do you guys want to read the following books until it is over are just read that one book and move on to another book and hope that other people will WANT to read the remaining books in that series later on?

I have nothing to add here, but will use the opportunity to explain this without going deeper in offtopic on the 'post your pick thread'

Then, when somebody new comes in, and I stalk him/her into reading my book and he/she says: "WTF?" You can all say, oh never mind him, hes just a guy that stalks everybody into reading his book?

And then the newcomer says: "Oh, cool. Weird, but cool. Is the book at least any good?"

And then you answer: "Don't know. Haven't read it. Nobody did."

And then I come in and post this smiley:

Confused

Where did this come from? Why is this in a thread about posting RL pictures?

It was actually supposed to be a joke, as in ha-ha... Looks like I should work on my humor. Or use it in a less serious crowd ^_^ My apologies if I caused any discomfort. It was not my intention to do so.

Actually I am going to go and pick a random book that I recently ordered (Don't worry I will not do this often) but I just received "I Have No Mouth & I Must Scream" and because it is sci-fi I figure I might suggest it myself.
