Favorite Video Game Franchises - Berry - 01-10-2013 06:17 AM
Surprised that nobody,and i mean NOBODY,didn't do a Favorite Video Game Franchise thread.So i'm humble to start one.So what is your favorite franchise.Mine is the MegaMan series,Dark Void series,Ducktales(NES) series,Kingdom Hearts series and the Earthbound series.

Mine have to be the Metal Gear Solid, Phoenix Wright, Fallout, and Sly Cooper franchises.

Ooh...this is gonna be a long list.
Ratchet and Clank, Metal Gear Solid, Sly Cooper, Uncharted, Hitman, Phoenix Wright, Call of Duty (yes, I'm serious), Mario anything, Destroy All Humans!, Scribblenauts, and possibly some others.
There are some I'd like to add, but because I've only played one of the games I would feel like I can't base the whole franchise off of it.

Well here we go!
Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Sly Cooper, Doom, Borderlands, Resistance, Uncharted, Phoenix Wright, Myst, 7th Guest/11th Hour, Star Wars Dark Forces games, Hexen, Heretic, Half Life, Age of Empires, Age of Mythologies, Fallout, Mario, Bioshock, Lego video games, Fire Emblem, Kingdom Hearts, Warcraft, Starcraft, Final Fantasy, The Hotel Dusk Games, Pokemon, Professor Layton, 999 games, Star Fox, Killzone, Persona, InFamous, Mass Effect, White Knight Chronicles, and Spyro.
That is all I can think of ATM.

Banjo Kazooie, Assassins Creed, Bioshock, GTA, Jak and Daxter, Sly, Ratchet and Clank, Sonic, Donkey Kong (as in Country 1, 2, 3 + 64), Zelda and Fallout!
There probably is more. (Like Ty the Tasmanian tiger, but whose played those right?) These are ones I couldnt leave out and I will always mention whenever some I like more than others, but thats the general thing!

I guess you could add Crash Bandicoot, Vigilante V8 and 19XX in there too.

I actually have Metal Slug Anthology which is basically the only way one can play MS6 outside of Japan. Still, MS3 is my absolute favorite of them and I still have my PS2 version with all the extra modes. Good times...

Typically if you say "mario" then the RPGs would be included but if you want to be more specific then that works too.
