In rollercoaster tycoon 2, changing a park guest's name to "John Mace" will make them pay twice the price for everything. If you change their name to "Mr Bean" when they ride the go-karts they will go slower. However, renaming them "Damon Hill" or "Michael Shumacher" will make the go-karts go faster.

Does anyone know why this is? Are those names associated with the company who made the game? I know the reference with Mr. Bean but not the others.

Well Damon Hill and Schumacher are Formula 1 drivers (hence the fast driving).
Not sure about John Mace
