Metroid Prime: Cancelled Kraid Boss - Pogue-Mahone - 12-20-2012 06:42 AM Kraid was supposed to be a boss in Metroid Prime, but was scrapped due to time constraints. He was supposed to have been a resuscitated version from being defeated previously by Samus, like Meta Ridley. He was to have a Metal Helmet covering his head, and Samus was going to have a certain ability to remove the helmet and damage Kraid, probably the Screw Attack, which was also supposed to be in the game as well. http://metroid.wikia.com/wiki/Kraid RE: Metroid Prime: Cancelled Kraid Boss - CtrlAltDestroy - 12-25-2012 01:49 AM This is cool, but I like the removed Metroid Prime 2 bosses even more. In Metroid Prime 2, there was supposed to be a boss battle with a darkling Luminoth. The dark Luminoth made a brief appearance in the trailer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=Sy9yPZzu1wQ#t=39s Also, an encounter with Dark Ridley was planned for this game, but was never developed, leaving Metroid Prime 2 one of the rare games in the series where Ridley makes no appearance. |
