Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw (of Zero Punctuation and Chzo Mythos fame) was originally chosen to write the script for Duke Nukem Forever. However, while a lot of people thought it was funny, the developers didn't think it felt true to the idea of Duke Nukem, and it was scrapped.
