Analog sticks helped so much with shooters. I can't imagine playing a shooter with only a D-Pad. My guess is it would suck majorly.

I think it would be like Resident Evil moving with Doom shooting.
Basically, like you said, it would suck majorly.

So.... it looks like they're going bye-bye soon. Screw you, Jason Rubin. Should've never left Naughty Dog. Or at least, never became president of THQ.

B-B-B-But Saint's Row 4...

Well, there's always the possibility of someone buying them...

I can see them going private before totally going away. Hopefully they can work something out before they have to call it quits.

Personally, THQ going down doesn't really matter to me. Sure, they published some decent games, but them going down isn't really a big deal to me.

He said "basically invented" as in, Goldeneye made FPS on console work. Ever play Wolfenstein or Doom on the SNES? It's shit.

I guess it comes down to opinion then. I honestly didn't mind Wolfenstein on the SNES. And I played the hell out of Doom on the PS1. Then we had the second analog stick which improved shooters and then I guess the Wii Remote/Move are the next step. But really, I consider Wolfenstein on the SNES the console FPS bringer. So it technically counts.

I was more into THQ when I was kid, but I don't think I've played any of their recent games.

Indeed same. I have no idea what the company have been doing aside from the odd Wrestling game and Darksiders.

People on GameFAQs drive me bonkers sometimes. A game hasn't even come out in Japan yet and they're like "So when's the US release date?!" and repeat that question over and over despite the fact the simple answer is "When x company decides to localize it!".

I thought MegaTen fans were smarter, but I think GameFAQs especially brings out the tards for any game fan base. Text heavy games take awhile and Atlus USA isn't that large of a company to begin with.

I do hear ya on that one, though, but I think by now the answer is "Never".

If you're on a specific board, Hex, at least you don't go on NGG (Nonstop-Gaming General). That board is just full of idiots and trolls.

If you ever see me on there, my username is X3RO_THE0RY.

That post made my day. Was that intentionally funny? XD

No. It was not intentionally funny. What made it funny?
