Pac-Man DYKG and some random ones - GorgonBull35 - 10-17-2012 02:52 PM

1. Did you know that according to creator of Pac-Man, Toru Iwatani, that Pac-Man was supposed to appeal to women. He tried figuring out what women enjoyed doing, and he noticed they enjoyed food. So that is why Pac-Man eats dots and why there are bonus fruits.

2. Pac-Man can be seen in the movie Tron.

3. In Street Fighter: M. Bison, Balrog, and Vega's names are all switched. Balrog is known as M. Bison in Japan, M. Bison is known as Vega, and Vega is known as Balrog. This was because of Balrog's likeness to boxer Mike Tyson even down to his name which would be infringement. To avoid legal issues, they switched his name to Balrog. They chose Balrog because they felt the name, Vega, suited an androgynous bull fighter not a big muscle bound boxer. So the Japanese character Balrog became Vega. Vega's name switched to M. Bison because it could possibly stand for "Master Bison" and be more menacing.

4. In Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, you can save your game at the beginning of the battle with "The End". If you exit your game and set the PS2 game clock to a week later, "The End" will die from old age when you resume.
