LOL, SERIOUSLY THOUGH, why not?

A lot of games have that kind of counter now days, specially MMOs. Tongue

Edit:
I would also like to suggest thread merging. I know now it will not be an issue, but in the future we'll probably have those lazy users who will start the same topic over and over because they do not want to be sifting through the pages of threads already created.

But I dislike seeing how long I spend here lol
I'll leave my browser open so that it shows me a ridiculously long time. That way I don't know *success* Cool

I don't want to know how long I've spent on here Big Grin

It's a meter that tells you wether you're a no life or not :x

I'm as big of a Megaman fan as anybody but it would be cool to see some other icons on the side of the forums besides just him there. I think something small like that could encourage a bit more activity on here.

If possible, I'd like to see a sticky thread in the "general discussion" along the lines of "the absence thread" where people can say when and for how long they'll be absent.
That way, we can expect someone not to be present rather than think that they've abandoned us Sad

Cool

I think this forum needs a Fast Threads section. A section where things go by fast. This'd be where you put all of the forum games, Post Your Favorites, You Laugh You Lose, etc. There was one of those on an old forum I visited, and it was awesome.

I'm not sure I follow. What would be different from making a "You Laugh You Lose" thread in a Fast Thread section than in our current general section?

The Fast Threads would be used for games and other useless stuff, while General Discussion would be for discussions of various, off-topic subjects.

If you do a Fast Threads (or Forum Games as I've seen it called) I highly suggest disabling post count in that forum to deter would-be spammers/post whores from ruining the fun by just hijacking threads for the purpose of increasing their post ranks.

Done.

Basically we don't know if anything is ever considered accepted until after it's posted on the site.

No, I know those. Just there's a ton that're apparently sitting on ice, so it's unclear if they're acceptable or not until they either suddenly appear on the site (in which case it suddenly appears in the Successful section as well) or if it's more-swiftly Rejected.
