My first game was super mario brothers 3. I was only 6 so I raged a lot back then. I also remember getting pokemon leafgreen at that same age but i didn't really know what "leveling up" was back then so I never really understood it. So the only first game I UNDERSTOOD was Pokemon Emerald

Sonic The Hedgehog, on the Sega MasterSystem. This game was awesome *_*

The first game I owned was Aladdin when I got my Genesis on my fifth birthday. I had been playing Super Mario Bros. with my older cousins well before this, though.

Dat Aladdin game...
Could never get past that one level where Jaffar was being a dick and not getting hit by my beautifully aimed apples.
So many good memories though Smile

That was actually my second game ever. So many great memories of me doing nothing except throwing apples at walls..for some reason I found that entertaining as a kid Undecided

EDIT: Oh, and walking on the charcoal.

Actually, I don't remember. It MAY have been LoZ: OoT, buuuut... it could also have been Super Mario Bros. on NES. Or some unknown game I forgot about...

That was always a pain!

My biggest trouble was always the magic carpet ride level out of the lava; nerve racking! I would even assert my hand-eye coordination is where it is today because of games and levels like this lol.

The original Wipeout for Windows 95, man I love that game, still have it too.

My first game would probably have been.... Super Mario Bros 2 I think. First game I remember finishing Pokemon Red. xD

RE: Your first video game ever - Nostalgic_Machine - 10-15-2012 12:04 AM

Streets of Rage 2, A Link to The Past, ToeJam and Earl...

Most of the early Genesis and SNES titles were some of my first, come to think of it!

I'd have to say you are correct. Also, the Sultan's Dungeon always gave me a hard time when I was younger. Having to time the last couple of shifting bricks/steps always got so nerve wracking lol.
