Playing Animal Crossing without the disc - BumblebeeCody - 08-31-2012 12:40 AM

Did you know that you can play Animal Crossing without the disc? Once you load up the game, the game dumps all the game information into the internal memory of the GameCube, meaning you can play Animal Crossing without ever needing the disc.
(This also works for Pikmin)

Yeah, you can do this with an Xbox 360, but with any game as long as it's installed.

I use the install option just so I don't have to hear the whirring as I play Cool

You can do this in Wind Waker too, but when you want to leave the area you're in, you need to put the disc back in.
