Now you angered him and now he's using his fire power.

Good job. >_<

Dreamcast Controller.

RE: Controllers. - Stan - 09-03-2012 07:36 PM

This whole thread turned into a flame war.

I made one unfair assumption based on a misunderstanding, that was resolved, and I explained this.

What is the problem here? Please, explain to me what I did that was so bad that everyone had to start jumping on me.

If you had stopped after I explained why I didn't like the controllers, it would have been done. But rather then accepting my reasons for hating the controller, you tried to make my reasons seem wrong.

For example, I feel like I have to stretch my thumbs for the analog stick, you said I must have midget hands (I don't). You shouldn't have said anything more then "okay". Instead you tried to find reasons why I was wrong in my opinion, since you don't have that problem, I shouldn't have that problem either.

This is also when you started to sound like a fanboy who can't accept someone not liking the controller.

You don't agree with me, that's fine, say you don't agree and move on.

I was Right.I can see the future.

That wasn't my intention, but I did make an unfair assumption (regarding your meaning for the triggers. I didn't fully understand what you were saying, that's one of the reasons I responded the way I did.)

Like I said, I misunderstood what you meant by having to stretch your thumbs (like I didn't picture it correctly in my head) until Skarro explained it.

Again, it wasn't my intention. I don't have anything against you liking the controller. (That's just dumb). But I apologize if that's how I sounded.

Quote:You don't agree with me, that's fine, say you don't agree and move on.
I disagree that the PS3 controller sucks, but I'm not disagreeing with your reasoning behind why you don't like it. Why would anyone disagree with someone's opinion.

That's all I'm saying.

Everybody just calm down. If some people find the X controller better than the Y controller it doesn't mean they can start a flame war over it. Seriously, just stop.

Do you know what I used to hate whilst growing up ?
Going to your friend's house and having to play on the lawd-awful 3rd-party player 2 controller. I think we can all agree on this.

Well, I've never been in this situation actually.
In fact, it was the exact opposite. I was the douchebag with the PS2 controllers that always got the perfect and untouched one and gave the rigged-up ones to the others.
True story.

Yeah, the NES Max....fuck that controller.

RE: Controllers. - Metal - 09-04-2012 01:56 AM

original Xbox controller. Metal will never come back.

RE: Controllers. - Skarro - 09-04-2012 09:03 AM

I enjoyed retro third party controllers, like snes ones. Everything n64 to present for third party is disgusting.

RE: Controllers. - zinja - 09-04-2012 09:10 AM

My favorite controller is the GameCube, followed by NES/SNES and the keyboard and mouse. I don't have a problem with other controllers. You just have to adjust, that's all.

Shout out to the DDR dance pad. Surprised it hasn't been mentioned yet.

I had a messed up black game cube controller. When my friend would come over I would take it out, show him how messed up it was and than play a game with him, me using the controller. I've gotten so use to it, that I knew exactly how to work it. It became this special controller to use to practice and to show off my skills.

P.s. I never bothered to fix it, I love that controller.
