You know, that Pokemon that you wanted from the first second you saw it, but you could never catch it due to not knowing where it is, it being very hard to catch or just because it wasn't in your version of the game.

I always wanted a Skarmory, I saw it in on route 113 in Sapphire, I tried very hard to catch it, even though I failed many times, either killing it or running out of Pokeballs, I never did catch it due to this.

Another Pokémon was a Chimecho, I really wanted one but I had no idea where you find it, and since I couldn't use the internet I just didn't try to find it.

What about you guys?

Those three bloody legendary dogémon in Gold and Silver. Rage was had tracking them down. Then they'd just bugger off straight away. Did I mention rage ?

Opens up map
Route 7
*Flies*
Opens up map
Route 3
*flies*
Walks around grass
Encounters random Pidgey
Opes up map
Route 9
*Flies*
and so on...

Celeby, because you needed a special frekin' event in Soul Silver. So, yeah, no way to catch it.

I also wanted an Absol in Emerald. Each time I saw it, even thought I threw pokeballs, I couldn't catch it (Bad luck I guess...)

Also, Milotic. I think you guys can think why (frekin' fish spawning in 6 squares of water...)

It's funny though. Once, playing Gold, I captured one of the three legendary dogs, and the other two came the next day. I got them all! One of them had appeared earlier in the game when I wasn't ready do capture it, though, and it slipped from my hands.

I must admit, though, I probably captured them with cloned Masterballs. But I really felt lucky. I wasn't even searching for them. I had finished the game so I focused in capturing and evolving as many pokémon as possible without trading.

By then, if there were any capturable pokémon I wanted, I just went for it. I don't know if I ever had this MUST-HAVE-THIS-AWESOME-POKÉMON-IN-MY-TEAM thing.

Golduck. And by Golduck I mean Lickitung. I always wanted a Lickitung and the only way to get it was to get a Golduck and trade for one.

Not really. I have like 3. Has only made one route impossible to go through. That was from me abusing another glitch, though. Most MissingNo. are harmless.

If you have a game that has the 1st generation world, you just gotta go in the cavern next to the city with Misty as the gym leader. Mewtwo is in there :O
