RE: Sparkly shiny Pokemon - Venenonic - 10-18-2012 05:19 PM My first shiny was a pink dratini that I hatched in FireRed. My second was more interesting: I had been looking for feebas in Diamond version, fishing along the shoreline for 4 hours, I then realized I could fish while surfing, surfed out to the middle of the pond, went fishing and the first pokemon that appeared was a shiny magikarp. I also have a shiny Rattata on that game too. I've also had shiny Lickitung, Skitty, Farfetch'd, Raticate and Igglybuff. (and Gyarados, obviously). RE: Sparkly shiny Pokemon - Mass Distraction - 11-19-2012 10:19 PM The first shiny I ever caught was the Red Gyarados. Nothing special in that. The first time playing I actually didn't even know what a "shiny" was until my friend told me he caught a "Golden Raticate". Funny thing, he has randomly caught that thing in the same place during all his runs on Silver. What are the odds? Even I eventually caught it, in the same exact place. Gotta wonder how common that one is. The only other shiny I have ever saw/caught is a Skarmory. Funny story actually, I had not played my Ruby for aaaages and it was the first thing I saw after booting up the game and touching a piece of grass. It's related to PID. RE: Sparkly shiny Pokemon - Player1Joined - 12-11-2012 10:21 PM I have a Shiny Rhydon and Semisear. I almost caught a Shiny Onix once but to my surprise..no more pokeballs. I am willing to trade these two for a Shiny Magnemite and Zoroark :3 RE: Sparkly shiny Pokemon - Kun - 12-31-2012 04:53 AM My first shiny I found was in pokemon gold. Sad thing was I was unable to catch it as it was at the very beginning and you did have access to pokeball's yet. I was so sad. So the first one I caught was the Red Gyarados. Later on the game when I got surf I caught a shiny tentacool. I was able to catch that one. In pokemon ruby I found a shiny poochyena. In my pokemon emerald game I got a shiny wingull. The most recent one I got was my shiny sentret. Which is now a furret from my pokemon white game. It hatched from an egg. RE: Sparkly shiny Pokemon - Mass Distraction - 01-05-2013 05:16 AM You know, I liked how there used to be that tiny star thingy in the wild pokémon's information when it was a shiny. Then came the Ruby/Sapphire and all you got was that twirly star thing when the pokémon appears and a special sound effect. If I'm not really concentrating and don't have the sounds on the chances are I will miss a shiny without even noticing. RE: Sparkly shiny Pokemon - Psychospacecow - 01-21-2013 03:01 PM I guess I have been pretty lucky for shinies. In Gold, got a shiny hoot-hoot and miltank. In Diamond, got a shiny starly I think it was. In Heartgold, had a shiny ditto,5 shiny gyarados over accumulative play and 3 shiny geodudes. In Black, got a shiny golduck, clefable, cloyster, the 3 dogs from the event, and I know it ain't shiny but got a pokerus pokemon from my brother. I think it was a Boldore. RE: Sparkly shiny Pokemon - TehEvilOne - 01-21-2013 11:33 PM My first shiny was a Kecleon from Pokemon Ruby. I was like 7 so I didn't know it was a shiny. My latest was a Shiny Pidgey in HeartGold. RE: Sparkly shiny Pokemon - Berry - 01-29-2013 07:47 AM Got a shiny Magikarp and a normal Magikarp by accidentally breeding two of my Gyarados(Ridley and Ole Missus) when i put it in the day care. Gonna put a screenshot right here: Spoiler (Click to View) Also on a side note: (10-18-2012 05:19 PM)Venenonic Wrote: My first shiny was a pink dratini that I hatched in FireRed. Is this a coincidence?Or something much bigger?
