I yell alot at Pikmin when I just want my Pikmin to go faster, move stuff faster, hit enemies harder. I just feel so rushed and Im always tense when playing it.

I also get pretty mad at the Challenge levels without the FLUDD in Super Mario Sunshine.

When accidentally getting the same ending in a video game then waiting till the whole cutscene is over.

If you think that using the same combo over and over is a sign from disrespect in the fighting game community you should probably watch a Marvel vs. Capcom 3 tournament or two. Perfect example of why it's unnecessary to change something that works.

I've seen plenty of MvC tournaments, but what i'm implying is that some people have no prior strategies, they want to button-mash their way to victory.

If all the greats (Daigo, Justin Wong, And PR Balrog etc..) started using the same combo OVER AND OVER, they would no doubt lose respect in the fighter community. Regardless if they won.

It's more complicated than simply winning...

Normally in Fighting Games like Tekken 5 and The King of Fighters,
because the boss give me a combo or because i defend or try to
dodge,and the command don't work.

And in some sport games like PES,when I try to take the ball away of the
area and some f*** crazy player from my team made a goal against me.

My Walking Dead Episode 2 just froze at the good part. Yell worthy.

Button mashing is far different from making the same combo over and over agan though. When you button mash you rarely get any combos at all (depending on the game).

But the famous ones DO use the same combos over and over again. Especially in MvC3. You make it sound like fighting game players have some weird anime samurai honor that forces them to stop doing what makes them win.

A good example is a tournament from earlier this year when a japanese guy came to play a MvC3 tournament. He played Rocket Racoon, Viewtiful Joe and Frank West. What he did with this team was pretty much spamming Rocket Racoons log assist to hit the opponent, and then do his BnB combo. Over and over again. People loved him anyway. Sure, someone said he "disrespected" but they were joking around. They say "disrespect" about anyone all the time.

Ok Ok, Fine lol.

It's still kind of annoying whenever it occurs though.

That, I can understand. Even though I think the beauty of fighting games is learn how to not get hit by the same thing.

UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

LUIGI STEALIN' MY STARS!

I think one time I raged moderately was when I died on the a hidden hole on Dark Souls (Prison Area).

I've raged a lot at playing Street Fighter x Tekken. Game is full of 'tardness. That auto-block gem can kiss my arse. Seriously Capcom >: (

I've raged a few times when doing speedruns on Mario, Zelda and RE4. Sometimes a boss just doesn't act the way it's supposed to and you lose those few seconds.

I find me yelling a lot during Super Smash Bros Brawl. When me and my friends have tournaments they always go for me first so I start yelling at the tv :3 haha.

RE: Yelling at games - AbyssalDoom - 07-04-2012 05:41 PM

ANY game where there are certain spots to save at (ex. FFVII) and you go through a lengthy/hard part of the game or earn a really good item that's about a once in the game chance and you die without saving. It pisses me off so much that I leave save files for a month or more, come back to the game after remembering it, and say, "Where did I even leave off at..."
