RE: What makes a great game to you? - Kat - 06-26-2012 02:55 PM I like really long games that have good storylines and quests. I don't like having to redo an entire quest just because I made one tiny slip-up. It just gets so tedious and pisses me off. I also LOVE when the main villain looks like an idiot. I mean, looks like he's in the wrong era or something. Just look at Miror B, oh my god. I could laugh forever at his hair. Music is nice, especially when it isn't the same few songs playing over and over for different areas. I love when the storyline actually gets me involved, you know? And the characters.. they need to be easy to relate to. Their connection to the story is one of the reasons I play. The ending must be good, too. I play games mainly just to see how they end. If the climax is just a big let down, well fuck me I just spent hours on end for nothing. RE: What makes a great game to you? - damerdar - 06-26-2012 11:17 PM Innovation. One of my favorite games is Okami, because it was so much different than all the other games I had played, and it was good for what it was. Same thing with Shadow of the Colossus. I had never played a game where I got to actually climb the monsters. It was new and exciting, and I loved it. |
