RE: Steam Summer Sale! - Zaliphone - 07-14-2012 10:57 PM I'm totally getting Binding of Isaac and Wrath of the Lamb, the stuff is dirt cheap! RE: Steam Summer Sale! - Xannidel - 07-14-2012 11:38 PM Just recently bought Payday: The Heist for 5 bucks and the Alan Wake collectors pack which includes the Online CE of Alan Wake 1 and American Nightmare for 10 bucks. Never played Payday so can anyone tell me how much fun it is or if anyone else wants to play cause I believe it is 4 player co-op? The game is pretty fun. It's a mix of GTA4 (Three Leaf Clover mission) with Left 4 Dead, which isn't bad. Only kick to the nutsack is that there isn't cross platform between PS3 and PC. So lame. But the game is fun regardless. RE: Steam Summer Sale! - Xannidel - 07-15-2012 01:34 AM Well my wireless is screwed up so playing on the PC online is the only way I can really get any fun out of it. RE: Steam Summer Sale! - Nuudoru - 07-15-2012 01:46 AM I ended up buying Ys even though I was looking for Rayman Origins and Arma II. FML. RE: Steam Summer Sale! - LinkXXI - 07-15-2012 03:43 AM I got plants vs. Zombies for 2.50 and Daed island today for 9.99. So far so good! RE: Steam Summer Sale! - Scormac - 07-15-2012 05:19 AM Got myself a Binding of Isaac wich is awesome RE: Steam Summer Sale! - Tajasaurus - 07-15-2012 09:31 AM I also just got Borderlands GOTY for $7.49 USD, so if you don't have this stupidly awesome game now is the perfect time to get it. RE: Steam Summer Sale! - Sirion - 07-15-2012 02:26 PM I bought Star Wars The Force Unleashed, Half-Life 1 Anthology (it's about time I played the first Half-Lives) and Sonic Generations. I think I spent a little less than 25 dollars. But consider that prices almost double with currency conversion here and feel my sorrow. Now I shall remain put, not touching the credit card for a long time. RE: Steam Summer Sale! - cingchris - 07-15-2012 04:06 PM I'm very upset I bought PAYDAY: The Heist seeing that it was only $5.00 and my computer could run it (or so I thought) it turns out I can't even play it the game requires minimum 3 ghz processor and I have a duo core processor that has 2 ghz and I thought that meant 2 ghz for each core, NOPE it meant 1 ghz for each core which is amazingly crappy considering this is a vista with pretty decent standards on everything else...so basically I spent $5.00 on a game that I can't even play. Edit: YAY, it actually worked and it turns out it is 2 ghz per core and it was just being derpy earlier I'm very happy I didn't just waste my money on something I couldn't even play. Before buying a game I use this (for my house PC, obviously my gaming can run it) but if you're not sure... http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/intro.aspx RE: Steam Summer Sale! - zspartancats - 07-15-2012 10:22 PM I also got Max Payne 1 and 2 for under four dollars, I've always wanted to play those games. RE: Steam Summer Sale! - Mr.Katana - 07-16-2012 07:51 AM Bought Binding of Isaac w/DLC and Tropico 3. Nice prices! RE: Steam Summer Sale! - Nuudoru - 07-16-2012 08:03 AM I want Saints Row: The Third so badly. But I have no money. Damn you bank account. And damn you internatinal economy for putting me in unemployment. RE: Steam Summer Sale! - gsninja - 07-19-2012 02:15 AM I'm trying not to look at the sales at all this year, since I'm already having a ton of trouble saving money. Still, I got Ys: The Oath in Felghana for $4.99 a couple days ago, so hopefully that'll be the only thing I buy. I'll be getting started on it after I wrap up Ys: Origin. |
