OH MY GOD THAT WAS A GOD DAMN MASTER PIECE.

Hearing all of this is getting me excited!! I almost just can't hide it.

I'll be seeing it tomorrow. I'm pumped.

Watched it opening night. It was heavily cliche'd and the predictabile, formula-heavy script hid what few things the movie did right.

That's what really drew me in when I saw the trailers. When I saw him make the wisecrack about tiny knives, I knew they got his character close enough to being right for once.

It also helps that the actor is freaking amazing.

One of my friends (actually, the other guy in the pic I shared in the "Post Pictures of Yourself" thread) is a HUGE spider-man film. And he things Andrew Garfield was a weird choice for Spider-Man because he doesn't look like he'd be a geek/nerd.

What's your opinion on that? How well does Andrew portray Peter/Spider compared to Tobey Maguire?

Problem with Peter Parker is that too many people focus on him just being a nerd, and nothing else. If you actually read the comics you will find out that even though Peter parker is often portrayed as a badly dressed nerd, he has always been very attractive. He gets women all the time and MJ (his next girlfriend) usually have a job has a photomodel or something like it.

Just kidding.

Don't ban me. Sad

Saw it earlier today. I like the actor they picked for spidey, and my crush for Emma Stone doesn't hurt either. All in all I thought it was a pretty good movie

RE: The Amazing Spider-Man - Beardy - 07-05-2012 12:34 PM

I've not seen it yet. I don't really care too much. SORRY!!!

RE: The Amazing Spider-Man - Mr.Katana - 07-05-2012 01:52 PM

Emma Stone definitely added a nice charm to the movie. haha! The movie was awesome though! Way better than the Tobey Macguire Spiderman. It just had a nice story and added more to understand it. If you hadn't seen it and you like Spiderman, you're missing out.

I loved the movie. I liked it a lot more than Spider-Man 1.
