You can't increase IVs, they never change. Also EV training your Pokemon would be awkward and would potentially ruin your Pokemon. Giving your Alakazam attack EVs because of Street Pass would be a huge problem. Nintendo would NEVER eff around with that stuff.

The first time a grass starter isn't some kind of reptile, but there is no disappointment. Also, Fennekin is mine, mainly due to my love of foxes, and because 4 out of the 5 previous gens, I used the fire starter first. The exception was Gen 2, because who can resist the awesome Totodile?

In all honesty, I'm not impressed by the X legendary, appearance-wise, at least. Maybe in battle, it's good, but since we have no info otherwise, this is all I have to judge it by.

Also, if Fennekin's final form is Fire/Fighting, I think I might kill someone. But, considering it's a fox, I doubt it will spontaneously evolve into a bipedal boxer....which is the same thing everyone said about Tepig, but look what happened there...

Oh, and in response to TheRealJDawgz, yeah the starters look a lot better than most of the more recent ones, even the otter who loves TF2.

Reminded me of Ben Franklin, which makes sense because he went to France to help US revolution, and the game has an eiffel tower.
