With $350 being the price, and the only real game My problem is that I got the Wii and PS3 about 4 years into the current console generation and I really missed out in that time. I really hate missing out on the things I love. Although realistically, I'm probably just going to decide to expand my 3DS library. 3 games is not enough. With $350 being the price, and the only real game The Wii U won't get a price cut so soon since Nintendo is already going to sell it at a loss. IMO, the price isn't the problem with the console. It's the games. They just don't have that many games out that warrants owning a Wii U. I guess I still can't shake how the Game Cube had such a massive price drop and that it won't happen with a Nintendo system again. Yeah, you're absolutely right about the price staying as it is but they do eventually have some bundle deals! Plus, at some stores, they occasionally offer gift cards if you a buy a system which can help sweeten the deal. RE: The Free Thread *gaming related* - A Zombie Riot - 11-08-2012 08:28 AM See, Nintendo just wants to make their consoles affordable. So, they're willing to take a hit to make sure many more people will buy it. The thing is though, I believe that the Wii U won't sell as well as the Wii. Despite it getting a pretty good headstart compared to the NextBox and PS4. I think when we see a price drop will be in 2014. I'm sure some stores will have a sale on them one way or the other next year, too. RE: The Free Thread *gaming related* - cingchris - 11-08-2012 08:47 AM Is it just me or does anyone else run out of games to play, all the time? RE: The Free Thread *gaming related* - A Zombie Riot - 11-08-2012 08:59 AM I do. I always have games I want to replay. But I don't feel like playing them. Like Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie. And then Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. RE: The Free Thread *gaming related* - Hexadecimal - 11-08-2012 09:00 AM I'm really afraid I won't be able to shake it, but my problem is that I seem to be forcing myself to play games rather than running out of ones. All I really used to do was play video games and now I really have no interest. I don't like that at all. RE: The Free Thread *gaming related* - Zaliphone - 11-08-2012 01:34 PM My problem with running out of games is that I have no constant cash flow. So I get a surge of games about twice a year and about this time of the year I run out of things to play and can't wait to get the games that come out in the fall season. RE: The Free Thread *gaming related* - A Zombie Riot - 11-08-2012 01:42 PM I have Gamefly, so that helps slightly. Yesterday, the company was worth 11 million. With them delaying the release of South Park and Company of Heroes 2, things are only going to get worse. It's a shame as THQ can, when they want to, turn out a quality product. Speaking of THQ, I asked Santa for WWE 13 for Christmas. In the meantime, I rented it from Redbox, and after about an hour realized it's not worth the sixty dollar price tag. It's a shame that the only thing they fixed this year was the story mode, every other annoyance from WWE 12 was carried over. Oh, and the company (THQ) is 100 million in debt, apparently. Well, shit. RE: The Free Thread *gaming related* - A Zombie Riot - 11-09-2012 06:22 AM They're doing slightly better today. Stock has went up, and they're worth 8.25 million. -- Bunch of GTA V news drops today thanks to Game Informer. I'm excited!! RE: The Free Thread *gaming related* - retrolinkx - 11-09-2012 08:51 AM Halo 4 is terrible, the multiplayer is broken, it has kill cams which is just a huge why and doesn't play like Halo. 343 ruined it, and they don't even know it, Halo 5 and 6 are going to be bad as well. In my opinion if Halo's were a 10, this Halo is an 8, sure it's Halo, but it's terrible. Also the mantis is to fucking overpowered, and there are no more weapon spawns which now just killed the arena aspect of it. I seriously hope that 343 get a terrible fan reaction to it, and they change Halo 5 to be like 2.
