Yeah, I said a lot that was missed out including that Torchic one. RE: Pokemon Did You Knows? - SERIOUSLY THOUGH - 09-10-2012 09:12 AM (09-10-2012 08:18 AM)Berry Wrote: In Pokemon Yellow Where ? Pokemon: Mario Kart: Did you also know, that the Goldenrod City music in gen 2 is the bicycle music slowed down? Here is one final for all the "imbossibruuu" things of the logic from pokemon: Did you know, that Torchic can learn Mega Punch? But only by tutoring in Pokemon Emerald. RE: Pokemon Did You Knows? - BumblebeeCody - 09-10-2012 09:44 AM Moo Moo farm DYKG is awesome. Nice find! It involves the use of Rage, and Transform in a Double Battle. There are two ways around this glitch. The first is to get into a Double Battle (via Vs. Seeker or Pokegear) and send out Ditto (or Mew if you want) and the Pokemon using Rage. Have Ditto Trasnsform into the Pokemon using Rage. Make Ditto waste all of the PP of Rage having it's last Rage "building" by attacking it with your own Pokemon (not sure if that's necessary) then finish off the last Pokemon with Ditto. After the battle your Ditto should know all the same attacks that the Pokemon using Rage did. This makes Ditto able to use moves other than Transform on its own and allows it to be able to win Super Contests. The second way around this trick practically is similar, but it involves a third Pokemon that knows Mimic or another copying attack. Send out the Ditto and the Mimic user. Have Ditto Transform into any Pokemon on the field and have your other Pokemon Mimic it, learning Transform. Switch out Ditto for a Pokemon that knows Rage and have your other Pokemon use Transform on the Rage user. Waste all the transformed Pokemon's Rage PP and finish the last Pokemon off with its rage building. The Pokemon that used to know Mimic now knows the Rage Pokemon's moves. It's probably easier to watch the video. Basically, this glitch involves Rage, Mimic, and Transform to allow Ditto or any Mimic user to learn practically any move. So why is this glitch so special? 1) Ditto can win Super Contests, which would be impossible with just Transform 2) Any Pokemon from Gen I, II, or III can learn Mimic via Move Tutor in Firered/Leafgreen (note that the Pokemon can learn moves and doesn't fall under the "can't learn any moves category" like Magikarp) 3) Smeargle can learn Rage and 3 other moves of your choice 2 and 3 together can lead to your Mimic Pokemon learning practically any 3 moves it desires using this glitch. This can lead to some deadly movesets. For example... Alakazam: Psychic, Aura Sphere, Tail Glow, Spore Moltres: Eruption, Aeroblast, Solarbeam, Water Spout Ninjask: Spore, Belly Drum, Protect, Baton Pass And possibly the worst of them all... SHEER COLD NO GUARD MACHAMP. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Rage_glitch EDIT: You san use this glitch with Ditto to easily pass down egg moves. While it's a bit more tedious you can get move combinations you couldn't before (i.e. Squirtle w? Aqua Jet + Water Spout) A bit intersestong but if you wanna break the game, go all the way RE: Pokemon Did You Knows? - retrolinkx - 09-15-2012 12:05 AM Some cool Pikachu facts. In 2008, Japanese researchers discovered a new protein which helps carry electrical impulses from the eyes to the brain and named it Pikachurin. According to the researchers, the decision was based on both the Pokémon and protein possessing "lightning-fast moves and shocking electric effects". Niue released a one-dollar coin featuring Pikachu as part of a commemorative promotion for the Pokémon franchise, with Pikachu on one side and the nation's coat of arms on the other. RE: Pokemon Did You Knows? - DarkNerd - 09-16-2012 12:47 PM @therealjdawgz- There's a third, simpler way. Just battle a wild Ditto, and get both your and the ditto to use Rage. Only tried it in SS. I now have a Ditto that knows Thunder, Fireblast, and Solar Beam. RE: Pokemon Did You Knows? - TheRealJDawgz - 09-16-2012 01:02 PM Well that is true, it can work however you want it, the gist of it is it's a broken glitch. I'm not sure if you could get it with Pokemon other than Ditto, or it would be pretty tricky to do it. By the way, who did you use for the glitch? RE: Pokemon Did You Knows? - retrolinkx - 09-24-2012 04:32 AM Pokémon Black and White, and I believe the games that follow, have a word blacklist for naming Pokémon. This means that if the player were to enter a blacklisted word for one of the Pokémon, it would be denied, and would have to be changed, this list ranges from ADHD to WOG and more. This black is used in many countries including Japan, Spain and England/America. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_censored_words_in_Pok%C3%A9mon_Black_and_White_Versions Spoiler (Click to View) RE: Pokemon Did You Knows? - BumblebeeCody - 09-25-2012 11:22 AM (09-24-2012 04:32 AM)retrolinkx Wrote: Pokémon Black and White, and I believe the games that follow, have a word blacklist for naming Pokémon. It would be short for Homosapien. Also, Dick could be short for Richard. Bitch could be used for a female Houndoom.... The one that had me laughing "God is a beast (blasphemy)" Jesussucks 9/11 ......DAMN? I'm surprised they censored Fag since in Britain (which is the flag they are using as it's origin) means cigarette. RE: Pokemon Did You Knows? - Deadalus - 09-28-2012 09:26 AM One of the best jobs i guess, finding out all the bad words... just imagine the meeting they have, when they discuss all the bad words, id love to be there And im back with some new pokemon stuff: Did you know, that the moves wich hit 2-5 times have a 12.5% chance of hitting 5 times? Did you know, that in pokemon gold, the intro where Ho-oh is flying around, Ho-oh itself is shadowed out. But crashing the game via failsafe will color him in, but everything else has the wrong color. Normal Failsafe Did you know, that there exist "Poke-gods"? Not speaking of Mew,Ho-oh or stuff like that, no hPoke, A or .44444444444 Im not kidding, ofc they are just messed up data, but you can still catch them in gen 1 (different ones in Yellow). They learn moves like TM39, TM50 or other different glitch moves. They all can be catched using the mew glitch or gameshark (For the lazy ones) but everyone except a few are 100% catchable ingame in the wild without gameshark or any other cheats. Did you know... that when the game WOULD allow you to heal your pokemon at the very beginning of the game, when you dont have a pokemon, the game would draw 256 pokeballs in the machine? Yea, ofc Nurse Joy, thanks for screwing up my screen (yes, its possible in gen 1 lol, everythink is possible there ) In gen 1 there was supposed to be an item, that (i guess) would transfer a pokemon in your party to your PC. When getting this item (Via gameshark) the game says:"The Pokemon box is full! Can´t use that item!" It has no uses in the final version and was cut, dont know the reason, but it would be handy. Thats it for now, see ya RE: Pokemon Did You Knows? - Takahashi2212 - 09-29-2012 11:48 AM Charmender originally had spines going down his back. This can be seen on his back sprite in R/B/Y, the original Pokemon Manga, and Charmander original art.
