RE: Pokemon Did You Knows? - Antwan - 09-07-2012 02:27 PM Seviper, a snake, and Zangoose, a mongoose, are both in the Field Egg Group, meaning they can conceive a child together despite being mortal enemies. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Field_%28Egg_group%29 RE: Pokemon Did You Knows? - BumblebeeCody - 09-08-2012 10:07 AM Pokemon is short for Pocket Monsters. What? We're 12 pages in and no-one said it. (If they did I'll edit their post so I'm right) corruptmods RE: Pokemon Did You Knows? - SERIOUSLY THOUGH - 09-08-2012 10:22 AM (09-08-2012 10:07 AM)BumblebeeCody Wrote: Pokemon is short for Pocket Monsters. RE: Pokemon Did You Knows? - retrolinkx - 09-08-2012 07:52 PM Brendan is actually wearing a hat. Oh also. In Red and Blue if the player uses any fishing rod on a statue it will work, and the player will fish for about 10 seconds before the game tells you there are no Pokémon biting. This can be done on any statue anywhere I believe, as long as it's reachable. The hotel in Celadon City is very similar to how the Pokémon centre is, that's mostly because the entire layout is just copied onto there with the placement of the PC deleted. The data used to access it is still there and therefore the player can still use it if they want to. RE: Pokemon Did You Knows? - Moriatti - 09-09-2012 11:55 AM It's because the statues are fountains. RE: Pokemon Did You Knows? - dman - 09-09-2012 02:35 PM In the Victory Road of Pokemon Emerald, there is a cool trainer with a Lanturn that knows Earthquake. Lanturn can't legally learn Earthquake and the only electric type that can is not in this game. But they program level 40 Dragonites and Lanturns with Earthquake in their games... RE: Pokemon Did You Knows? - Moriatti - 09-09-2012 10:50 PM It's because those trainers are SO VERY GOOD. RE: Pokemon Did You Knows? - BumblebeeCody - 09-10-2012 03:46 AM @retrolinkx I googled it and holy heck, Brendan really is wearing a hat. It doesn't seem weird to have white hair like that, but in Japan, anime/manga characters can have any colour hair. (May is better anyway) @TheRealJDawgz That Lanturn trainer is using acting replay ha. Nice fine. I wonder if it was intentional... RE: Pokemon Did You Knows? - retrolinkx - 09-10-2012 04:01 AM ^ Yeah, according to the manga it's because he has a scar on his forehead. Still, I think he'd look cooler with white hair. Ofc everyone in animes have weird hair color from brown, black, white, to red, yellow, blue or puke green, i mean they are anime characters from japan... And playing out of the rules is fine with me, when done right. I mean, its giving out challange and, as said before, when done right, its more fun then playing this dull boring Pokemon we have now. I mean, in wich generation do you really need to train your pokemons for gym´s or the elite 4.. i cant remember one except maybe the first gen i ever played and i had no idea from pokemon at all. But other then that, its a simple walk in the park. So having a Pokemon, that uses moves a normal Pokemon cant learn (Like Pikatchu using hyperbeam.. that would be epic) throws a new level of challange to the player. My biggest wish in newer pokemon games would be a difficult menu, where you can select between serval difficulty levels (Like easy, normal, hard and chaos) To be ontopic, ill throw one or two things down: Did you know, that every electric type move in gen 1 began with the word "Thunder"? Did you know, that Torchic is the only starter pokemon (excluding Pikatchu) to have a gender difference? Males have a small black dot on their rears, resembling an anus.. Male: Female: |
