Your Pets! - Hexadecimal - 08-15-2012 07:48 AM C'mon! I can't be the only one who likes to gush about their little fur baby! I own a diva of a guinea pig who I've had for a year and five months now. His owners that gave him away were super neglectful and I had to deal with lice and overgrown toenails as well as getting him to a proper weight. He's become a dear companion now, despite the fact he won't hesitate to wake me at 6AM if he wants celery. He does this by shrieking so loud his voice cracks, but he knows it'll do the trick. And now, Scuzzy spam. Spoiler (Click to View) RE: Your Pets! - A Zombie Riot - 08-15-2012 08:28 AM Sadly, I have no pets. the last pet I had was a german shepherd mix and she was perfect. I loved her to death. Then, I had to get rid of her because I couldn't have pets at my dads (since we were only renting the place). But here she is. I still wish I knew what happened to her. If she's even alive or not. It was 8 years ago (dang... now I feel old). I have this picture in my wallet and always will. I miss her like crazy. RE: Your Pets! - Hexadecimal - 08-15-2012 08:31 AM ^ That's so sad I really don't know what to say. I'm sorry you had to give her up. RE: Your Pets! - A Zombie Riot - 08-15-2012 08:33 AM Me too.At least I have many many great memories with her. Like me and her riding on a 4-wheeler together and she giving pups on my birthday. Taking her on nice long walks. Spoiling her to death. But your pet is cute too. RE: Your Pets! - RBeef - 08-15-2012 08:39 AM This is one of my dogs, Balto. Balto on my lap. Balto and Luki messing around. I love dogs, and these dogs in particular. I saved Balto from the streets when he was a pup, and Luki was a Valentine's present from my girlfriend, she cost $20 and she is very mischievous. RE: Your Pets! - A Zombie Riot - 08-15-2012 08:41 AM Also, when I was much younger, we had 2 cats, Fluffy and Tigger. I forget what happened to Fluffly, but Tigger ended up dying on us when my and my dad were in Indiana for a few days. When I came home, my sister told me he ran away (a lie). And then later told me that he actually died. I cried so much that day. The day I move out, I'm going to make sure that the place I live in allows pets. I'm getting either a dog or a cat, dammit and he/she will live with me forever. RBeef, both of your dogs are very pretty. RE: Your Pets! - Xannidel - 08-15-2012 09:36 AM Oh goody! I love these threads! When I was 8 or so I got my first REAL pet (I do not count the goldfish I got when I was like 5 because I did not know what I was doing) and her name was Penny and she was a Sheltie. She was my best four legged friend and she and I had a very special bond and when I was in college in the dorms she was so sad because I was not there but when I would come home she would be all energetic and happy. On 5th of May 2009 she got hit by something, maybe a branch or something, and the next day she passed away in the local animal clinic and the worst part is that I never said goodbye to her because I was so certain she would survive just fine. Now that I have moved to Knoxville, my mom and I own 2 Shelties. Max is the one on the left and Molly is the one on the right. We got Max when he was a pup and the cutest ball of cuteness ever! Molly on the other hand came from a breeding farm and they were going to be put down because she was apparently too "homely" to breed. When my mom got her she was so afraid of everything, grass is a good example to give you a broad idea, and she would not play or anything. It has taken me 3+ years to get her to not only beg for food but to jump up on couches with me and to give her love. She will not lick my face but she will lick my hand which is a vast improvement. I also have a cat (do not know the breed) because when I found her not only was I outside mowing the lawn but I could hear her meowing from a distance. She was barely 4 months old and her tail was broken and diseased, she had fleas and worms and was just a mess when we found her. We got her tail amputated and they told me that if she had not been found then the diseased tail would have infected her spinal cord and she would have been dead within the next few weeks. Here is a picture of her, and her name is Coco Puff. Okay I think that is all I have. RE: Your Pets! - A Zombie Riot - 08-15-2012 10:19 AM very cute puppies and kitty!! RE: Your Pets! - Zaliphone - 08-15-2012 10:26 AM My sister has a turtle named Sebastian and I have a gecko named Cornelius. RE: Your Pets! - Arjahn - 08-16-2012 12:07 AM I was going to post something, but fuck it, this is too depressing =( RE: Your Pets! - retrolinkx - 08-16-2012 05:10 AM My mother had a German Shepard for a while, it died a few months after I was born due to a twisted stomach. When I'm older, I want another German Shepard again, and a Labrador, those are my favorite dogs. RE: Your Pets! - SERIOUSLY THOUGH - 08-16-2012 05:23 AM I lost it at the bumblebee guinea-pig I've never had any pets. I love animals so I was always happy when friends of mine had pets that I could pet RE: Your Pets! - Sohakmet - 08-16-2012 11:41 AM Isee your pets and then I find mine to be boring. As long you enjoy give them love that's all that counts. Scuzzy is a spunky little thing sometimes but most people would find him boring. When he's not harassing you for food he'll really just cuddle against you and take a nap. I love having a little lap warmer. |
