Looks like because of Sleeping Dogs, TF2 is kicking out some new items and a map. The thing that caught my eye was the new spy sapper. I dunno how exactly it will actually do.

Anyway, these look awesome. Your thoughts?
My thoughts? They should add more Chinese items. Also, I saw nothing that I could use for the engineer ._.
The Neon Annihilator looks useless.

The Huo Long Heatmaker looks OP for spies.

The Flying Guillotine looks sexy but OP.

Red-tape Recorder looks absolutely useless, but some people said its OP.

Kong King looks awesome.

OP OP OP
Scout looks awesome!
The scout Hatchet looks sweet and feels like a bolimic puppy upchucking rainbows, and it's not really OP at around 40 damage, which is essentially 3 pistol rounds. The minigun is pretty boring, the new pyro axe is useless and actually deals less damage than the axtinguisher on a crit (156 for the new one vs. 195 for usual crits), and the new sapper is... odd... to say the least, and you don't get any points for sapping stuff with it :o
The new sapper is useless, unless you have to sap something with an an engineer close by. It will weaken the other teams defense but for a short time. So it'll require a lot of communication with your team.

The Neon Annihilator is only good on maps with lots of water. Other than that, you better stick with something else.

The Flying Guillotine is great with sandman.

The Huo Long Heatmaker is a decent gun. Its a little unfair for the Spy but I'll bet Valve will patch the flame radius.
DID SOMEONE SAY HATS?

Also this is pretty cool, even though I don't play TF2 much, I think this is nice of them.
Well tHAT looks very interesting.

Whatever may be the characters included in Team Fortress, the thing is that all of them are fine and interesting and yes it feels nice to have all of them.
Wow, a new sapper? It only took them five years. Too bad this update rolled out with a ton of bugs and they're scrambling like hell to fix it. I'm not sure what the benefit is for downgrading a building instead of destroying it completely, so I'm going to assume I'm missing something.

I somewhat agree. Perhaps they'll add some extra ability to it eventually.
I still want to see a sapper that makes buildings have an inverse effect on players.
E.g. Dispensers steal ammo, teleporters slow you down and sentries that damage you somehow, not too much damage from sentries though, that'd be a bit OP if a spy could completely covert a sentry's team...

That's actually a really good idea. Something like that should totally be implemented.
This new sapper is better for sap-stabbing, since it makes sentries and other buildings go back to level 1 almost instantly, and it takes a lot of time and some building animations for the sentry to activate. The Engineer would have to remove the sapper AND upgrade de sentry in order to have it kill the spy, which is enough time to get himself killed. The normal sapper reactivates instantly after sapper removal, and that's more risky for spies.

It's a good sidegrade, if you ask me.
