Hey everyone. Joined earlier this month, but I thought I'd lurk around a little and make a few comments only when compelled to. I'm Raven, a fan of video games, books, music, and anime (not necessarily in that order).
I'm a huge fan of the Zelda, Fire Emblem, Ace Attorney, and Professor Layton series. I prefer games with an engaging story, and I think these series have some of the best stories around. I play Pokemon mostly because of nostalgia and to make fun of the new designs, although I am currently really enjoying the story of the current gen.
To lazy to type up the rest of my tastes right now in books, music, or anime, but if you'd like to discuss those, that would be cool.
Thanks for taking the time to read, and may your days forever be awesome.
Welcome to the forum Big Grin

Good list of games there.
Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright looks pretty good!
Hello there Raven ! Glad to have you on this forum - your taste in gaming is excellent so I think you'll fit right in Smile

Couldn't have phrased it better myself

Just one thing, you forgot to close your bracket.
Fire Emblen fans are rare. Welcome!
Nice list of games you like, looking forward to the next Layton game, Ni No Kuni and also Layton vs Ace Attorney (assuming they are going to release it in the states.)

Thanks! Yes, I am just waiting for some news of localization. Then again, it's not even done yet, and those series tend to take a long time to reach stateside.

Thank you! I had hoped my selections hadn't sounded too weird.
Also, thanks for the grammar catch. I strive to have literate sentences, even on the internet.

Thanks for the welcome! More people need to discover the awesomness of Fire Emblem. Then again, the only reason I knew about the series' existance was because of Super Smash Bros.

Thank you. Can't wait till November for the new Professor Layton game! I'm still on the fence about Ni No Kuni, as I personally don't own a PS3, but I'm sure my roommate won't mind sharing/ceding any control for about a couple of weeks. I was really hoping they would release the 3DS version too, but I guess major translation issues are preventing that. As for Layton vs Ace Attorney, there are hints that it's going to see a western release.

Thank you! I've been looking for a great forum to join, and being a fan of DYKG since their first youtube video, I couldn't pass this up.
Also, your sig is one of the greatest I've ever seen.
Welcome. I like your nickname. Do you deliver messages?
