Crash Bandicoot was almost changed to "Wuzzle/Wez/Wezzy the Wombat" or "Ozzie the Ottsel" by Universal, but remained Crash because Naughty Dog threatened to leave the production.

Thing is, were they to have chosen "Ozzie the Ottsel", we would now be saying "Crash Bandicoot? That's the worst name 4evaz"
