As in I agree with his past decision because any Avenged Sevefold song besides ones from their first album beats all Breaking Benjamin.
You're comparing a metal band to a rock band. Not really fair.

It's like saying The Sims 3 is better than Halo 3. It just doesn't work that way since they're both in different genres.

And I absolutely love Breaking Benjamin. One of my favorite bands.
Tell me, which of those is the metal band? It sounds like someone is confused Wink

I agree they are both hard rock except for Avenged Sevenfold's first 2 albums where they dabbled a little in metal and Nightmare is of their most recent album.

Breaking Benjamin is not hard rock.

More like alternative rock.

Well yes I realize I've stated incorrectly on that, but they're still rock non the less which still leaves us with 2 rock bands and 0 metal bands. Tongue
Avenged Sevenfold leans more on the metal side than the hard rock side.

Want me to list a great example of a hard rock band? Disturbed.

Best. Band. Ever. While Avenged Sevenfold is a close second Disturbed is my favorite and needs to stop being on a hiatus and make some more music already.
Have you been following David at least? (If you have facebook), go follow Device. It's David's new band.

I saw Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed live back in October of 2010. Rockstar Uproar tour. Madison, WI. One hell of a show. Both bands put on a hell of a show. And Stone Sour and Halestorm were both fantastic live.
The only thing that sucked about the show was my best friend (in the post pictures of yourself thread, he's in the pic with me) got into a serious car accident the night before. Broke both of his legs and either both of his arms or one of them. He ended up getting hit by a drunk driver.

But that didn't stop us from an awesome show. Was thinking about him the entire time, but knowing that he was alive and not dead made me happy.

That's too bad for your friend but yes I kinda wanted to go that concert due to being so close to Madison but I didn't exactly have the money nor would my dad have let me gone if I would have asked to go anyway. Also yes I have been anticipating David's new band hoping to hear it, but as of right now it's only news no music samples yet. Smile
Alright, he asked what music he should listen to and you guys helped him with that. So I'm closing this thread.

Feel free to create a music thread though. Smile
