I guess due to the overall newness, great community, and yet another reason to check out the site almost daily. Oh and the chance to meet new people.
I joined simply because it was a brand new forum and that the people here are people I don't know.

found that about games.When I see a forum,I decided
to join here.
I found DYKG on tumblr, and I love odd information, so I followed. I believe I joined on day two or three. Hardly anyone out here loves games as much as I do, so I thought this would be the perfect place for me to meet new people and make some friends.
it was new and therefore not ridiculous massive with thousands of members, i guess you can be heard and start recognising posters which for me is a plus
I joined this forum because I wanted to be in a community again. Also, this site is amazing.
I saw it on FaceBook and absolutely loved the graphics and "did you know" aspect lol. Great forum and site!
I think someone on Facebook shared one of their DYKG pics and when I liked their page they later on mentioned a forums started so I decided to jump on board and see what there is to be discovered and now I have met some awesome people who are not only smart but are mature, with a side of shenanigans involved as well. The forums also help people in multiple ways (with people asking for help to people talking about politics and religion to people talking about games and LPs). This forum may be new but I will bet the maturity in here beats a majority of forums that have been released for YEARS.
Also the mods and Admin do a FANTASTIC job at locking threads to moving those that need em and do not abuse their powers at all.
It's like a dysfunctional family and I love it.
I haven't really been part of a forum for quite a while, I thought I would give it a try again because I really love this site and obscure trivia. It was totally worth it.
My friend, Makk, mentioned it to me. I enjoyed what I saw and decided to join.
