Fighter: Gamecube Controller (I own a converter for PC)
Retro Arcade: Joystick

Anything else doesn't really matter. As long as it's not those gimmicky controls that ruin zelda games.

I dunno dude. I always thought it was quite fun to spend 5 minutes trying to slash either vertically or horizontally to kill a measly Deku Baba.

GUUUUUUH IT MAKES ME SO MAD!
How to fly your Loftwing. You'd think we let you use your analog stick on the nunchuck, but noooOOOOOooo. Have fun tilting your arm up an down with that Wii Remote suckers.

Oh yeah.

For non-pc games i agree wiht GC wavebird controller being the best.

The wiimote+nunchuk sucks, you can't rapidly tap buttons without the 2 halves being attached,(go try it) that's why brawl let you hold down the button to do rapid attacks.
I really prefer control pads for everything, I'm just so used to them. Although I have been getting a lot better at using keyboard/mouse for things.
