I would ultimately end up having 10% of the population of earth, being related to me.

I often thought that the power of immortality would be pretty good. But imagine never being able to die and living forever. The amount of suffering you would go through like having a relationship in which they would die, you'd find someone else, they'd die etc. It'd be fun in the short term but not in the long run.

Teleportation. I could travel the world without the boundary of money being involved.

Stop time would be cool but I think you'd end up ruining all of existence.

But being immortal doesn't mean you would be able to remember all the course of your life. Because, even if your body doesn't change at all, your memory works the same way any memory does. An old man with 80 years or more usually forgets some moments of his life, as well as remembers stuff that was forgotten maybe decades before. And it all might get mixed up and turning into confusion. As an immortal man starts surpassing human life expectacy, I imagine a similar effect would happen. So many events and so many people would come and go that eventually many important things would just be lost. Only the most truly remarkable events and persons would remain. It's like a journal becoming a history book.

Anyway, I guess my superpower would be being awesome without need of superpowers, only using intelligence, charisma and plain badassery to get things done. Like Tyrion Lannister. But without the size and beauty issues.

Also, be as powerful as Mr. Manhattan.

WOW. I never thought of the fact that you would start to forget things in your life. Now I want Immortality. w00t

Or to be as strong as Goku, so I could kill Manhattan Tongue

Or the power to make bend reality with my imagination.
The power to "copy" anyone including myself. Can you imagine how sick that would be?
Matter Manipulation, which would essentially allow you to do anything.

Specifically, shapeshifting would be cool. You could turn into a bird and fly, a bear and maul people, or just a random other person and commit a crime, run around a corner and turn into someone else, and get away with anything Big Grin also, you could turn into dead people and freak everyone out... Which would be fun
X-Ray vision or that Black Widow idea. Nah, i'll probably settle for time manipulation and to move things with my mind.
The power to punch someones face through the internet.

Sounds like a power anyone would have fun with if they had.

The first truly sensible reply Big Grin

EDIT - Syntax
I want the powers of Superboy-Prime....ALL OF THEM Big Grin
The ability to change the weather and control the elements, earth, fire, water, grass, gas etc etc etc. I could make it rain in places which barley get any or you know set people on fire.. which ever is called for. Just doing my job!

But that's the thing. You said an old man starts to forget part of his life (mainly due to how Humans work) but that's because he actually grew up. You wouldn't. You'd be a [insert your age] for the rest of your life therefore, not forgetting those people. You would never grow old and not have that issue.

If you had X-ray vision you'd be blind ha.
I want to be like Spider-Man, but instead of shooting web I shoot hammocks.
The ability to control and become light.

Mostly for the lazer beams, but also because it comes with a ton of utility powers. Super speed that is effectively as fast as teleportation, lazer beams, invisibility, visual illusions, lazer beams, flight.

Also, lazer beams!
The power to will things to life.

So for example, if I wanted a time machine, I could think it, and it'd appear.

If I wanted an alien planet to be found the next day, it would happen.

But, if I couldn't have that power, time control would be nice, stopping, starting, slowing down, speeding up and traveling back and forth would be nice.
I never really wanted a super power, just to be a smart and observant as Mr. Holmes and The Riddler put together. That would be amazing.
