I don't see much difference between "nerd" and "geek", mostly because here "geek" isn't a word very often used, and "nerd" is largely used for both senses. But whatever meanings those words might have, I guess I am mostly both of them. I love games, comics, movies, technology and everything about these things. I rarely am something other than this. I spend most of my time in front of a PC, after all. I don't consider myself an otaku since I'm not so fond of anime and manga as I used to be. They've become too weird, and Brazilian fansubs suck so much. I know, I used to translate for one of them.
Describe "geeky".

I would have to say around 37%. You'll never guess why.
I wouldn't say I'm geeky. I mean, I love video games and comic books and the sort, but... I don't know how to explain it really.

I can explain it.

In denial.Rolleyes
Um...I guess I would say about 70% because basically all I do is sit at this computer...I need to get a life. Sad
I am a Third Ranked Nerd in the Dork Hierarchy, my brethren hail from the far off regions of LAN and depart from their basement caverns rarely.
I was born in the 90s so I can say I am lacking to be a true nerd/geek but I do know computer things along with games, fantasy novels, comics, movies.
I spend my friday and saturday nights playing DND. How geeky does that make me?

If you dress as a character and wear a home-made tail, you, sir, are a mega-geek.

Not that it's wrong or anything...

Does a chain-mail bikini count?
I would say that I dabble in certain spots. I'm not fully engrossed in a lot of geek culture.
Very. Having this many games/movies/comics/anime should propably make me a very geeky person by default.

I do occasionally go to parties and whatnot so I'm not completely reclusive Big Grin
I don't claim myself to be geeky, and I still find it an insult than a "lolsorandum" compliment.
I'm not a big fan of labels, in fact I despise them. A lot.
I do a lot of what could be described "Geeky" things, but I never take them that far to the point of obsession. I play D&D with my friends when we can get together, but I don't go super Hardcore DM on them and be a stickler on every last rule. I play Magic the Gathering, in fact me and my friend drive half an hour every thursday to a game shop and play MTG for a while (by the way, casual Magic nights are really, really fun if you get into it), but I don't spend hundreds of dollars constructing ridiculously elaborate or obnoxious decks. I like learning and reading a lot, but I really don't care much for school. I play a ton of videogames, but that's mostly just because they're really fun and I grew up playing them.

You could call me a geek, you could also call me a one eyed Cabbage, I don't really care.
I also hate when people walk around acting like they don't care 'bout nuthin cuz dey coo'.
That hurt my fingers to type
