Alright, it's time for one of these threads, but I plan to do it with a twist!

I'm going to make four kinds of lists. DYKG-member LP and recommended LP, then the same with livestreams. So in my opening post we will have a huuuge list for people to browse through.

Great, right?

In this thread it's also okay to discuss LP/livestreaming overall so if you just want to talk about someone you enjoy or need help setting it up, don't be afraid to ask.

DYKG Community LP list

• http://www.youtube.com/user/RFSmediaproductions CFMM does a series of short plays (as in covers one game each episode). Keep your eyes open for season two of his series that will be made by several people and a budget.

My favorite LP of all time is his detailed playthrough of Illbleed (Dreamcast). He has a great voice, a dry sense of humor, and a passion for gaming.

• http://www.youtube.com/user/BikdipOnABus He does Pokemon LPs along with some other random LP vids and while his voice is kind of bland, he is really good at keeping you interested in watching.

• http://www.twitch.tv/siglemic World record holder for Super Mario 64 speedruns. Never talks but still makes the livestream interesting due to his skills and entertaining fanbase. At rare occasions he plays Starcraft 2.
• http://www.twitch.tv/peacefuljay 24/7 fighting game stream. Once in awhile famous players visits to play a couple of matches.
• http://www.twitch.tv/teamsp00ky Fighting game stream. If there's a tournament or big even within fighting games chances are you will see it here.
• http://www.twitch.tv/iplaywinner Fighting game stream. Same as above.

Awesome! I would want to know if anyone knows a decent microphone/headset to get in the case that I somewhat get more viewers. I would also like to know if anyone has some kind of criticism to my content.

If you want I could put your channel in the list. Just give tell me really short what kind of LP you do.

I do the kind of LP with live commentary when I either try to guide the viewer through the game as much as I can with information and such, I also try to complete the games.

As for games I can do any game for older consoles as long as I can get an emulator and for PC as long as I have the game.

Twobestfriendsplay is amazing. Definitely worth the time to watch.

Two best friends is godlike, no joke.

Use a wired Xbox controller and connect a headset to it.

I recently started up a new stream channel on twitch (last week). Basically practicing a personal best (1:40) before even trying a world record run for RE4. (Not streaming anything soon since it's EVO weekend)

Chuggaconroy is one of my favourites, and of course Toby Turner/TobyGames is another great one.

I also enjoy the odd lets play from the Pewdiepie, and I watch quite often Yogscast. :3

I chose not to add ProtonJon because he always focuses more on reviewing a game rather than making an LP. He's great though.

Probably the only ones I watch, when a ProtonJon video comes up they're just incredible.

Except that happens once a year, lol
