I highly recommend The Goons. Also, when Spike Milligan got a Lifetime British Comedy Award in 1994...
His war memoirs are pretty amazing too.

Thought it was stupid as i watched it, then about 5 seconds after it finished I laughed pretty hard while thinking about it.
