I'm not a fan of Call of Duty myself however, I had some fun nights with my friends playing Modern Warfare 2 online back when it was the latest Call of Duty.

However, In terms of advice I have none since I was just decent at the game; I primarily enjoyed annoying the people VIA microphone

Call of Duty is fun, with intelligent friends it's great too. Believe me I love playing a 6 man S&D team with Riot Shields and RPG'S, since we always win due to our skill.

I'd say MW2 is good, it's very fun to play, has only 2 bad maps, as compared to the many MW3 and Black Ops had. I've played a lot.

I don't think it's great, it has terrible mulitplayer, a terrible community along with terrible servers, the story is sub-par, the graphics are from 2007 with very little change, many guns are over powered or under powered and to be honest the game forces camping with it's kill streaks, and provides little to no tactical thinking at all.

Battlefield, apart from the graphics, physics, play style, maps, servers and gametypes is no different, I've spent a lot of time on both, they both have their ups and downs.

Anyhow. When I was a newbie, I used to play Demolition, since it ranks up the points a lot, but don't worry about leveling up, the skill level of a newbie and a pro is very small, usually kills are luck based or dependent on connection.

I have MW1 which I enjoyed back in the day. Then the servers became invaded by hack-using kids called "xXxKw1ksNip3ZxXxpU$$yaLLnItExXxSmkzw33d"

I only enjoy playing with people I know in private servers. That way there's no bad blood between the players and you play with people who won't just shout curses at you everytime you manage to kill them

The exact same thing happened in MW2, One time me and my friend joined a lobby in which allowed you to navigate a menu of hacks including the 'Nuke Gun' and the ability to fly. Whilst fun it was also annoying when you were actually trying to play the game.

I always hated that little kids thought they were pro because they joined a map called 'Rust' and would do "no-scopes" with an intervention. Those idiots could easily be gunned down with every other gun.

Some even spun round before they tried killing you, That usually resulted in shotgun bullets to their heads

That feel. Satisfaction.

I think its just fun to just get throwing knifes kills. Was definitely a fun time in Call of Duty Black Ops.

Well, I'm pretty sure it will be. I read about it in Game Informer, and it looks pretty frekin' fantastic. I just hope I can do some cool emblems like the first Black Ops ^_^

Black Ops is so fun with good mates that are smart and funny. I have a great time playing CoD on XBOX, except all them hack kids.
MW2 to me wasnt so fun, it was just shrouded in the squealing of 9 year olds being killed by Predator Missiles. 'WHY DO THEY ALWAYS GO 4 MEEEE? ;('

MW3 is kinda fun, but Black Ops 2 just looks aboslutely fantastic. Zombies is one of my favourite things ever, its a great game mode which I totally suck at though, but I still have alot of fun.

I only have CoD 4. Never managed to play it online decently. First there was the PunkBuster issue. With a little research I resolved the problem, but I still can't connect to any server. It says "Game server response timeout" or something like that. What the f*ck!?

Also, how do you put up with soo much mercenary DLC? Do you really buy it? If I had one of the latest games, I would be tempted to buy them, but I wouldn't! They aren't worth it! The price is too much for too few.

I NEVER buy DLC unless its worth it, I might preorder Black Ops 2, but only for online and Nuketown 2025, because Nuketown was a classic.

I only ever buy DLC for Zombies for BlackOps, I bought Rezurrection, and I bought the RAAM's Shadow for Gears of War 3
