I know where only one is and while I am OCD about finding that other one, it is not THAT big of a deal besides I am sure they will implement something soon.

This forum also uses reputation. Now, that you can see who gave you. ^^

I am grateful to whatever the post is I've been thanked on, but I'd at least like to know why I was thanked and for what post.

That's the reasons I'd like to have a finding out who thanked you system.
Hmm... I guess you certainly have a point retrolinkx. I suppose if you want to find out you should have the option then.

Now, as a sort of question. We have a Thanks and a Reputation systems. They are similar yet different enough to keep themselves separate from each other. Do these interact in anyway? As in, does getting "Thanks" increase one's reputation? Or does reputation has to be awarded by a user manually?

One thing to point out. Thanks are given to posts, and under each users profile info on each post there is a legend that reads how many tanks they have given. Does this counter count the thanks given in posts or threads? I ask because I see retrolinkx has "Given 10 thank(s) in 9 post(s)", by which if its posts that are counted, then something went wrong.

Reputation is a separate system and he's able to have 10 thank(s) in 9 post(s) because he must have been thanked by two people on one of his posts. Smile
Bam. Right on the kisser. I did not think of that at the moment. Thanks for clarifying that for me.

I know where mine come from but I've wasted probably somewhere around 2.5 hours collectively finding them. Tongue

No problem man. Smile
Guys, I still would like something like this, I keep getting more, and I want to know from which post, my 180 post count is getting higher.

Yeah, I'm not going to spend that much time finding out where all of them came from.

This feature, it needs to happen so I don't have to spend 2 hours checking every one of my posts to find a thank on an old post.
I think the issue with implantating (is that even a word? jeez) this feature would be that the admin would have to mess around in the forum code a lot, and he has mentioned before that he doesn't have a lot of experience with that. So if he tries to change anything he might accidently screw up the forum a lot.
It's not that important but it would be a nice feature
