I'm pretty sure everything about the Manhunt games were nightmare inducing man.
(Just so you know I played both of them and I had the PC version of Manhunt 2 which doesn't have the violence censors that they had to put in on the console versions to keep the M rating instead of AO because of extended scenes of intense and graphic violence)

Never really found the Chainsaw Majini scary. The atmosphere wasn't really there during his reveal. Compared to Super Salvador in RE4 Mercs, it's still insanely scary because he won't stop swinging which means instant death.

Also, in MGS4 the Beauy and The Beast Unit have particularly nightmare-inducing backstories.

And it's kinda weird because they're all gorgeous under those hard shells, but also delirious psychoes.

It's very detrimental to their beauty.

Voldo is a bit scary when he does that backwards scuttle thing. I'd be frightened if I saw him in real life.

I don't think I've ever had nightmares from games. I have had a LOT of that weird thing when you're dropping off to sleep and you can't stop seeing whatever you've been playing. For me, it's probably been those green shapes that dodge your fire in Geometry Wars Galaxies.
