Charmander for RYB and Totodile for GSC.

Definitely squirtle, if only for his third evolution. Who doesn't want an awesome giant turtle with cannons on its back? Out of the current gen, I suppose I like oshawott, but I really just like dewott.

My list of favorite starters per generation:

Gen 1: Squirtle
Gen 2: Totodile
Gen 3: Treecko
Gen 4: Turtwig
Gen 5: Snivy

Notice the lack of firetypes altho i realy like cyndaquil just not as much as totodile

From the 1st generation, it has to be Squirtle.

Every time I replay Blue, if I don't choose Squirtle I just feel dirty. Like I've been unfaithful. XD

On the 2nd generation: Cyndaquil
3rd: Torchic
The more recent generations i haven't played yet, So i don't have a favorite.

Here's something for all you original fans.

Squirtle or Cyndaquil. Their evolutions were awesome.

I always liked the fire starters, my favorite being Charmander, except for Gen 4, when I went with Turtwig.

We should make Team Charmander, Team Squirtle and team Bulbasaur shirts

Plus,Totodile and Treecko for the next generations.

If it counts, Pikachu. If it doesn't, cyndaquil.
