When I was playing Skyrim, I was trying to do some missions and I ended up searching for the Elder Scroll. But when you play, you get to go to a place called Blackreach.

That place has a magical feeling with it. It is huge, pretty and filled with glowing mushrooms and tall dwemer buildings.

Not only that, there are TONS of secrets in the area, like a dwemer city, some weird chests here and there, or even the mysterious crimson nirnroot.

It was a magical moment for me to discover beautiful structures and plants under the land of Skyrim.

And so, my question is: Did you also have a magical moment when playing a game?

That place is beautiful. I loved walking around there.

My most magical moment when playing a game was probably Legend of Zelda: OoT. That game had a certain mystery and magic to it that I had never experienced before. Literally everything I saw I wanted to explore, what I couldn't see I wanted to explore more, and I spent hours just shooting the hookshot at everything.
Lost Odyssey. Such a beautiful game, genuinely.

For those who don't intend to play it but want to see a really great moment in the game click here (MAJOR SPOILERS): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bPYvu_9Nv-w

For those who want to sample the utter brilliance that is this game watch this (It is basically a short story that provides back story for one of the characters, even out of context this is utter brilliance):

Hmm, indeed...

No-one gasped louder than me when I discovered the beautiful forest of Crystalsong in World of Warcraft.

Nothing screams "magical" like purple soil and naturally illuminated trees.

When I was browsing the internet, something peaked my interest. The "Child Killing" mod.
Fallout 3.

I was amazed at DC, I thought it was incredible. The amount of places you could go, the things still left untouched, the atmospheric music in every area, the propaganda, the robots still doing duties they don't need to do, messages and notes that give the area some history.

It was so nice to walk through there and imagine just what it was like before the war.
Onimusha 3:Demon Siege.

Battle against Ranmaru Mori,in the top of Eiffel tower. The
illumination, the music and the battle made me fell happy.

Was it the one for Fallout 3? That one is pretty popular. I never bothered downloading it because I heard no one in town really reacts to a dead child.
Playing Dear Esther. While some may not agree that it is a game, I still found the atmosphere and graphics to be so beautiful.
The Dig was also one of those games that had my mouth open as a child.
The beginning of The shivering isles addon for Oblivion. your inside this room , being quizzed by this seneschall guy, and once he finishes all the walls of the room dissolve into butterflys that fly away , and only the desk and the two chairs remain on top of a hill with a beautiful vista
