I was just wondering if anyone else loves The Sims as much as I do. How long have you been playing? Which one is your favorite?
I enjoy the occasional bout of Sims, however, it always turns into a game of murdering the little guys.

I find it interesting that in a game based primarily on preserving a character my goal becomes to kill them in the most elaborate way.

Still Sims is relatively fun if you are looking for a time-waster. However, I lean towards games with a way of completion I for one love RPG's since they always have engaging stories and brilliant soundtracks. Plus I like levelling up stuff... /Rant
I played Sims 2 so much that the whole thing kind of burned out for me. Sims 3 doesn't seem to offer enough new content to make me interested so it's been a couple of years since I last played a Sims game.

I've never played The Sims. From what I gather it's kind of like having your own ant colony, naming each ant and then stamping on them, right?

It becomes that when in the right hands.

Rather coincidently there is actually a game called SimAnt's in which you can do exactly what you just described.
I've always enjoyed The Sims. I usually use the money cheats and then build a crazy house with a huge family and they throw tons of parties... then I get bored and put everyone in a little 1x1 concrete cube until the kids are supposed to go to military school and then eventually the grim reaper will show up. It's a tragic end to a great life.
I can totally understand where you guys are coming from. Even I get burned out from time to time, but I always go back haha.

It is sort of like and ant farm, with all those little lives in your hands. I never really kill anyone, except ex-boyfriends.

I've been playing since the very first one came out, and have been hooked ever since. Even got all the stuff packs and expansion packs. I use cheats when building and decorating. I love to make huge, elaborate houses for my SimSelf. I'm very detailed haha.

If anyone has an account on The Sims 3 website, let me know and i'll add you as a friend and send you a gift Smile
I used to play Sims 2 a lot, mainly because of house designing. I love making houses. I would make them big a good looking... and I would always put an egocentric guy who would have a relationship with EVERYONE in the town.

And I never had babies Tongue. What a joy ^_^

Woah... I think I'll back away from 'Beware of Cuccos' since this demonstrates her lack of mental stability Confused

Hahaha! I only do it in the game, I swear. It made me feel a lot better after a particularly rough breakup.

Unless that makes me sound lame, in which case- yes, I do kill ex-boyfriends just for giggles.
I've always played them on the consoles and I had lots of fun with The Sims 3.

How is Pets, BTW?

Pets is awesome! I love it. There are all sort of animals, which you can make, adopt or even catch in the wild. I recommed that EP before any others.

They're also coming out with an EP for ZOMBIES!! I can not wait for that. I heard it will be the last one.

Da' yout' an' dem zombies mon'.

I still might be the only person who thinks "zombies in non-horror games" is a fad that needs to run out.

On another note, i play Sims whenever it's within an effortless reach ^_^

I only play them on consoles. My PC sucks, and I have no job to get a new one. But I know Pets is available on the 360. So, whenever I get to my "gaming break" I'll have to rent it.

Thanks!~
