The question is pretty straightforward.

Mine is the Strategy genre. Even though the other genres are still pretty cool, nothing is better then showing your skills by beating up someone with your brains... not literally of course...
When I was a kid I was a fan of strategy (Age of Empires 2, Roller Coaster Tycoon, Total Annihilation, Warcraft 3, Warzone 2100, Outpost 2, Netstorm, Railroad Tycoon and possibly others). Now I like RPG, Roguelike and Tower Defense
I've got to stick to my Platforming roots, and I love strategy games, but it almost always feels better to defeat a difficult robot man with an awesome weapon and take their power than it does to sit through menus and click on stuff, or turn based combat for that matter.
Strategy has to be my favorite just because there is usually no luck involved with a strategy game allowing me to win through skill not cheap luck and feel like I've actually earned that win though just being superior to the other player(s).
I really enjoy all genres of games. If I had to choose a favorite it would be Shooter RPG, combines the craziness of shooting with the strategy of RPGs.
My favorite genre is RPG. I dislike those new "MMORPGs," but I love the old school Bio-ware RPGs, like Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic, Jade Empire, and those types of RPGs.
Eh, mostly RPG and strategy. Its fun when a game actually makes you think about doing something instead of just mindless gameplay. Though, its okay from time to time if it's done right.
It has to be shooter. Though the RPG genre has gotten A LOT of love from me recently.
I really like open world action games, so definitely RPG/action/adventure. Those games I can spend hours on.

Same to me.Because of this,I spended almost one day to play
games like Okami,Grand Theft Auto,Kingdom Hearts,and Persona.
I really love arcade shoot'em ups , sadly , there are almost none.

I use flash games to fill this hole in my gaming collection. There are quite a few good ones.
Adventure I guess, I love Legend of Zelda, and I think it's a nice genre, but I do like some TBS now and then.
I voted for Action/Adventure, but i also like Ego Shooter and RPG's..
And many casual games
