Just wanted to see what games people really put their time into and really had a passion for.
For me it would have to be Super Smash Bros. Melee I played that game so much and often that I 100% completed it, and then continued to play it till it was so scratched from just playing it that my Gamecube couldn't read it anymore.
For me it was Fallout 3, the first time through each decision was made so carefully, everything I did was planned out.
Any game I get immersed in. (Fallout, Crysis 2, Metal Gear)
Any game, where my skill is actually good. (Halo, Soul Calibur)

ive played this game so many times , with so many different character combinations, a solo character run (that i livestreamed), with mods like the big world project (that adds like 200 hours of playtime) installed. the game is so worth it , and i never get tired of it.
I got well into Max Payne 3. I'm not usually one to be swayed by how flashy a game is, but man...that was like a huge action film. Plus it actually had some pretty fun gameplay.
On the flip side of that... Minish Cap. I dunno what it was, but I loved that game.
Mass Effect 3. I do enjoy RPGs, but this one made picky on what I choose. Oh and punching news reporters are always fun.
Super Mario World, I would not stop until I got that star next to my name, that and Star Fox 64, because Foxes with sunglasses are badass.

Final fantasy 7 and Outcast... epic stories...
For some unknown reason... LoZ: Minish Cap. I guess it was the fact that there were ACTUALLY some secret goals to accomplish. For example, you needed to collect shells to buy figurines. If you had them all, something special awaited you (A piece of heart, 600 rupees and a disk thing that let's you play every songs of the game.)
There's also the fact that you KNOW your weapons can get upgraded, and I was desperately finding how (on my own!).
I passionately play any loot-heavy RPG.
