A king, because, even if I'm f*cked, I can do something awesome and so I shall ever be remembered in the history books as "that badass king that rocked so hard, but had assholes all around him".

Living in a fantasy world where magic is a rare and amazing aspect of the world, thus making it stable and sense-making (like in Tolkien's or George Martin's books) or in a fantasy world where magic is abundant, letting anyone be as powerful as one can be, thus making the world instable and ever-changing (like in an MMO)?

Absolute king without a doubt, I'd rather have total power over a country than fight crime. Mainly becuase I'd implement a secret police to do the superheroing and then spin some stories of my glorious feats
