Mmm, I have no idea if it's good or bad. You hear how it's good because he was anti-imperialism and against Americans stance(which I do agree on) but then bad since he screwed the meaning of the word democracy for the country. But when he was voted in power for 14 years(longer if he didn't die) then he couldn't have been that bad for Venezuela (although I'm not gonna say whether it is or isn't good/bad).
I'm just gonna stop here because otherwise, we'll get into politics, but one of my bro's friends lives in the US because his dad moved from Venezuela in an attempt to escape. Then, he got a job in oil with his established records, and all was well with him in US. Chavez was chasing away quite a few smart peoples.
Finished my third exam out of three this week (one final one next week). Bloody hell they were hard. For this final one, we had to interpret the Malian Ambassador to Canada talking at 100 miles per hour in a thick French accent about the Malian crisis, throwing around names of jihad groups and African Union missions like there was no tomorrow.
After, I listened to my recording and for some unknown reason I pronounced "United Nations" with a thick jamaican accent, like "United Nyéshans" I think I was too busy thinking of the English equivalent of the next organisation she had on her list, and it interfered with what I was currently saying.
Right, gonna take me the afternoon off ! *collapses*
