What are you studying? Why?

For me, I'm studying computer engineering. My dream is to create a fully functional, all 5-senses virtual reality system.

And then use it to create the most magnificent game of all time.
Yeah I am a Psychology major. I was a Computer Science major until a year or two into my major and I was still not used to the commands and was doing horrible on my tests, this showed me how miserable I was and how I needed to get out of it before it ruined my GPA any further (it did a fair amount of hurt) and now that I have changed my major I have not only been more happier in college, but I have also realized that this is something that I am really wanting to pursue even if it takes me 5+ years of college to get a degree necessary to get a good job.
yeah, i'm at university studying linguistics. want to go into translation, forensics, or teaching.
I'm majoring in history and taking voice acting for fun
Graduated last may with a degree in radiologic technology (see: xray technologist) and have plans to go back for nuclear medicine. Also have a degree in graphic design, and was going for BS in computer engineering until I realized that there's no way I could do that for the rest of my life
I went to school for a year studying communication design but now I am going into the Air Force, which is something I've really wanted for a long time. I was sworn in a week ago and am currently in DEP, set to ship later this year. I'm trying to get a job as an airborne linguist. There's another test I still have to take for that. We will see. Hopefully!
Nope, my college days are behind me.

I took a CIT (Computers Information and Technology) course. It was a bunch of web design, coding, game design, computer maintenance, network building etc.

It was fun. But did I get a job in that field? Noooo, of course not. Stupid life!
business financing and accounting.

yes , ive sold my soul to capitalist greed.
I guess there is no equivalent in English speaking countries, but I study what in Portuguese we call "Letras" (letters, in English), which combines the study of linguistics, literature and culture, in my case, focused in German language (which I'm learning) and culture. I intend to become a professional translator, hoping that the demand for german-speaking professionals in Brazil free me from the terrible fate of becoming a poorly paid, greatly unvalued languages teacher.

I already translate some things from English to Portuguese, btw.
I'm a Biology student. I kinda like taxonomy and anathomy, but I'm leaving to a different area: Classical composition.

@Sirion, that sounds awesome. I don't really know why I didn't consider studying that.

He can have my job, I will give it to him freely.
Master's student.
Only about 8-10 graduates a year for the whole country so we're quite rare ;D
