In the 360 version of Tales of Vesperia, a drawer in the Capua Torim lighthouse contains a pirate hat with the following statement:

"Inside the drawer, there's a pirate outfit for girls. A name is written, but it's hard to make out because of heavy wear. 'Pa.....'?"

In the later PS3 release of the game in Japan, a bonus playable character is added named Patty who is a young girl pirate.

Also, in the games coding, there are HEX callouts for each of the playable characters:

"YUR" "Yuri Lowell"
"EST" "Estelle"
"KAR" "Karol Capel",
"RIT" "Rita Mordio",
"RAV" "Raven",
"JUD" "Judith",
"RAP" "Repede" (aka "Rapido"),
"FRE" "Flynn Scifo" (aka "Furen Shifo")

There is an additional one for "PAT" which could suggest Patty Fleur. Seeing as Flynn was also added as a playable character for the PS3 version, it may be possible that all were intended to be fully playable characters in the 360 version and were ultimately cut for some reason.
