Saw that I accidentally posted this in the wrong forum so I deleted it and reposted it here sorry about that:

I'm not sure if this has been submitted but David Jaffe's (God of War director) original vision for the ending of God of War 3 was massively different from the way it played out. Basically you would kill Zeus within the first 5 minutes of the game opening up a vacuum on Mount Olympus. Egyptian and Norse gods would step out and challenge the Greek gods for dominion over mankind. Kratos would fight a giant sphinx monster and freeze it with the Medusa head to explain where the sphinx came from. Kratos finally realizes that the only way to truly kill the gods is to get the people to stop believing in them and this is achieved by the gods continued war among themselves and the people suffer and are neglected because of it. Then you use the sixaxis to slit Kratos wrists and go to Hades to be with his family. And the game ends with the three wise men heading towards Bethlehem. Now this is a bit long and would probably be best suited for a Did You Know God of War video rather than a post. Just so no one thinks I am pulling this out of nowhere here's the interview for proof, it starts at 10:45:

That must have happened when I copy and pasted the post here. Sorry try this one
That is pretty cool man, nice find.
Thanks! It's just about the only God of War random fact that isn't hidden in the extra features of the games
Too mindblown that i can't even put in a gif about how mindblown i am right now.
I read it in a magazine once, but the original God of War had an unlockable Sweet Tooth costume that could be unlocked. David Jaffee later had it removed from the game entirely just so no one would play his new game just to to associate it with the special Sweet Tooth Costume. He wanted to distance the two games as much as he could, and David thought people would play his new game just to get the Sweet Tooth costume. Been looking like crazy for an online source because I can't find the magazine that has the interview.

I tried searching for that but I couldn't find it as well. Hope you can find a source because it sounds pretty cool. Oh it's within the game special features but during develop of the first GoW Kratos' model had a stand in of a guy in a diaper. You can see it in the same area of the special features that tells of the cyclops' having visible genitalia originally.
